Surveying before designing
The constraints were physical: floor area, connection positions, and the height available beneath an existing gantry. Those were measured and drawn before any component selection took place.
Designing for the real duty cycle
The original unit had been sized for a duty cycle the press no longer ran. Cooling and filtration were specified against measured demand, which is why operating temperature fell rather than simply matching the original.
Tested before it arrived
The unit was function tested against the specification before dispatch, with the test record supplied. Installation was therefore a mechanical and electrical task, not a commissioning exercise.
