How we use cookies.
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. We use as few as we can, and we do not set anything optional until you tell us we may.
Essential cookies
These are needed for the site to function and are set without asking, because the site cannot work without them. They carry no advertising data.
| Cookie | Purpose | Retained for |
|---|---|---|
| vf_consent | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics cookies, so you are not asked twice. | 6 months |
| vf_admin | Signs staff in to the private admin area. Never set for ordinary visitors. | Session |
Analytics cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which products and pages are useful and where people get stuck. These cookies are only set once you accept them. Until then Google Consent Mode holds them back, and we receive nothing that identifies you.
| Cookie | Purpose | Retained for |
|---|---|---|
| _ga | Distinguishes one visitor from another. | 2 years |
| _ga_* | Keeps session state for Google Analytics 4. | 2 years |
| _gid | Distinguishes visitors within a 24-hour window. | 24 hours |
Changing your mind
You can change your choice at any time — withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it. Your browser settings can also block or delete cookies entirely; the site will still work.
