Vanguard Forge Ltd is the data controller for this site. For anything in this notice, contact info@vanguardforge.co.uk.

When you request a quote. We collect your name, company, email address, telephone number, country, the product or specification you are asking about, and anything you write in the message or attach. We use it to price and answer your enquiry — that is a legitimate interest, and it is the reason the form exists.

Anti-spam. We store a one-way hash of the IP address a submission came from, so abuse can be blocked without us holding the address itself.

Analytics. If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics tells us which pages and products get used and where people give up. We look at this in aggregate; we do not use it to identify you, and we do not sell it. If you decline, it is not collected. See the cookie notice.

Only the suppliers needed to run the service: our hosting and database providers, our transactional email provider (to send you a copy of your own enquiry), and Google Analytics where you have consented. We do not sell personal data or share it for advertising.

Enquiries are retained while there is a live commercial relationship and for six years afterwards, which matches ordinary UK business-record practice. Analytics data expires on the retention set in Google Analytics. Your cookie choice is remembered for six months, after which we ask again.

You may ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to our using it, or ask for it in a portable form. Email the address above and we will respond within one month.

If you think we have handled your data badly, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. We would rather you told us first so we can put it right.
