Terms of use.

This site is operated by Vanguard Forge Ltd, a company registered in United Kingdom under VAT number 523864872. Where these terms say “we” or “us”, they mean that company. You can reach us at info@vanguardforge.co.uk.

It is a catalogue and an enquiry channel. You cannot buy anything through it, and nothing on it is an offer to sell. Listings exist so you can tell us what you need precisely — by part number where you have one.

Specifications, images, weights, availability and lead times are given in good faith and are indicative. Manufacturers revise products, supersede part numbers and change tolerances without telling their distributors first.

So treat a listing as a starting point for a conversation, not as a specification you can design around. Where the detail matters, say so in your enquiry and we will confirm it against the manufacturer’s current documentation before you commit.

A quotation we issue is the binding description of what we will supply, at what price, on what lead time. Where a quotation and this website disagree, the quotation governs.

Quotations are valid for the period stated on them and are subject to the stock and exchange rates at the time of issue. A contract comes into existence when we acknowledge your order in writing — not when you send it, and not when you submit an enquiry here.

Supply itself is governed by our conditions of sale, which are issued with the quotation. Those conditions, not this page, cover delivery, title, risk, inspection, returns and warranty.

Prices quoted exclude VAT, duty, carriage and insurance unless the quotation says otherwise. Where a price is shown as “on request”, it is because it depends on quantity, specification or origin, and quoting a number without those would be guesswork.

Manufacturer names, part numbers, logos and trade marks shown on this site belong to their respective owners. They are used to identify the products we can source, which is a use the law permits for that purpose.

Their presence here does not mean we are an authorised distributor for that manufacturer, and it does not imply any endorsement, sponsorship or affiliation. If the distinction matters to you — and for warranty or certification it often does — ask us and we will tell you plainly how a given item is sourced.

You are welcome to browse, search and enquire. Please do not:

• extract the catalogue in bulk, by scraping or otherwise, to rebuild it elsewhere;
• submit enquiries you do not mean, or anyone else’s details as your own;
• attempt to reach the private administration area, or interfere with the site’s operation;
• use the site in a way that breaks any applicable law or export control.

The design, written content and arrangement of this site are ours. Copying them for use elsewhere needs our permission first.

We do not promise the site will be uninterrupted. It is maintained, and it depends on services we do not control. If it is down when you need it, email info@vanguardforge.co.uk — an enquiry by email reaches the same people as the form.

Where we link to a manufacturer or third party, we do so for convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for what they contain.

Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not permit us to limit.

Beyond that, our liability for your use of this website is limited. We are not liable for loss of profit, loss of contracts or other indirect loss arising from reliance on catalogue information — which is exactly why the section above asks you to have specifications confirmed in a quotation before you commit to them.

Liability for goods we actually supply is dealt with in our conditions of sale, not here.

What we do with the details you send us is set out in our privacy notice, and what this site stores in your browser is set out in our cookie notice.

We may revise these terms. The version published here when you use the site is the one that applies. A quotation already issued is not affected by a later change.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
